==Party Mode== "Party Mode" is an unused gamemode featured on a dev stream on December 6th, 2016. This was planned to be a more casual game mode, where 4 rounds would be played and each round with a different minigame (selected at random from a roulette). Players would earn points at the end of the round for their placement: +10 for first, +6 for second, +3 for third, and +1 for fourth place. The player with the most points at the end of the four rounds would win. This gamemode was never introduced into the game, however assets for the gamemode still exist in the game file. The following minigames were presented on the dev stream for Party Mode: {| class="wikitable" |- ! Minigame !! Screenshot !! Info |- | Bigger is Better || || A timed match where dealing damage or getting KOs makes the player grow larger. Growth stops at a certain point, about the size shown in the image. Taking damage presumably shrinks the player. |- | Taunt or KO || || A timed match where every ~15 seconds a countdown will start. Any player who isn't performing an emote by the time the countdown finishes will be instantly KO'd. |- | Color Platforms || || A special map with 6 colored platforms and a color block in the center. The players must stand on the platform with the color matching the block in the center to earn points (+1 every second, +2 if emoting). The color block in the center changes over time, switching what platform must be stood on.<br>This minigame would later be re-introduced into the game as Platform King. |- | Wu do, You do || || A giant Wu Shang Kong bot is on a center platform, with each player on their own platform unable to move. The bot performs unarmed attacks in a random pattern, which the players must copy before a countdown ends. Any player who fails to match the pattern within the countdown is immediately KO'd. The last player standing wins. |- | Ice Hockey || || A unique mode in which the players can move in all directions from a top-down perspective. Players are divided into teams of two, with a mine in the center acting as the "puck". Players must try to throw the puck into the opposing team's goal, while preventing the opposing team from scoring on them. When thrown, the puck will slide along the arena and bounce off of walls. Players have the ability to grab the puck, chase dodge, and use their neutral light attack. The team with the most points wins. |- | Skeebomb || || Players are divided into teams of two, each side with their own platform and targets in the center. Every few seconds, a bomb will shoot out on each side in a random direction. Players earn +1 point for grabbing a bomb, +1 point for hitting one of the rotating yellow targets with a bomb, and +3 points for hitting the center blue target. It is also possible to jump over to the opposing team's platform to try to steal bombs or attack them. |- | Bounty Hunter || || A stock match where every player has 1 stock. Each player is assigned one of the four colors: red, yellow, blue, or green, and also has a block with a different color over their head. This block has the color of the player's bounty; who they must eliminate. Players can damage opponents other than their bounty, but if they KO someone who isn't their bounty they are instantly KO'd. The last player standing wins. |- | Spear Pogo || || The map is divided into four sections, each player with their own section and a target dummy. Players must use Spear down-air to jump off of their target dummy as many times in a row without touching the ground. The highest streak for pogoing off the dummy is recorded as the score, and the player with the highest score wins. The target dummy will also take more knockback the higher the streak but cannot be KO'd, and will reset the knockback taken once a streak is broken. |- | Superbrawl || N/A || Superbrawl appeared in the list of minigames, but was said to be not selectable as it was still in development. It is unknown what the minigame would have been. |}
