Epic Skins are unique Skins that can be purchased from the Store with mammoth coins or earned as the final reward from a Battle Pass. Epic Skins are more expensive than regular skins (typically 240 to 300), but come with more vanities to make up for the price.
Alongside Epic Skins are Mythic Skins. These are very similar to standard Epic Skins, but cost more ( 400) and have extra features, such as costume changes when holding different weapons.
Mythic Skins have even more vanities, though only a few possibilities have been shown off so far. These include:
Costume changes when holding different weapons (such as a different hat)
Unique movement animations
Unique light attack animations
Epic Skins[]
Currently, there are 12 regular Epic Skins, as most Epic Skins are Epic Crossover Skins. As these Skins where released at different times when standards for an Epic Skin were not fully defined, they have differing bonus vanities included.
Epic Crossover Skins are Epic Skins, purchased from the Store with mammoth coins, for a legend involving crossover Events with a TV show, Movie, or other video Game. Similar to regular Epic Skins, these are more expensive and come with custom signature effects, a dedicated roster spot, and the unique perk of having their own name being announced at legend select. Unlike regular Epic Skins, if you own an Epic Crossover Skin, you do not need to own the base Legend in order to use the Skin.
Gruagach is the only Epic Crossover that doesn't have custom signature effects.
Ranno was the first crossover skin, but is not considered an Epic Crossover as there are no custom signature effects, dedicated slot, or custom announcer name in Legend select.
Currently, the Street Fighter event is the only crossover with custom voice-acting signatures.
Eivor was the first crossover skin to have 2 genders.
Spongebob Squarepants was the first Mythic crossover to exist in game (as of 21 March).
